Host4Students.com, our web server, is shutting down. They're giving us until May 14 before they go completely kaput, so...

Mary and I are going to be downloading all the data we can between now and then, but if you are capable of backing up your own stuff, please let me know ASAP so's we know who we need to be worrying about or not-worrying about. K?

And, no news on the restoration of all the dombillijah.com stuff... I suspect it's gone for good. :(


We still have all three domains registered, but will be having to get webspace elsewhere. Keep an eye out for updates as to what's going down in terms of where space is etc.

So, yeah. I'll take this opportunity to say, er, that this comes out of our own pockets, so if you ever have the urge... you can contribute to the upkeep.

I know it's not the same as getting into the actual file system, but will the history of dbl on archive.org (http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://dombillijah.com) provide at least an option to save text and images?

That's unfortunate. Um, like, everything on the claire site on oscillating is not worth bothering with, so don't worry about that at all, I don't have the program or anything anymore so I'm just flicking it completely (I know you probably weren't exactly fretting over that stuff anyway, but I'm just saying sose weknows) anyway um, I can save some of the data on the chapel, if you want. only, obviously the data that's accesible by viewing the source. And providing you want to host it in future?

My Oscillating stuff is all fully archived here, and I have both burned-to-dvdrom and local hard drive copies, so no worries on that score. Um, not that I ever went live with the Pirate Fic site. :-) I'm a doofus.

I hope you can find a good host for bringing the domains back up. These have always been excellent archives.

I have all my stories backed up so don't worry about me. I will, however, miss the graphics for Wing Development. It is such a beautiful image. Is there any way to save the images? It would be such a shame to lose something that special to me that you created.

allo. i have just checked on my hd and i still have all the files etc i created your site with. so i should be able to re-upload; you might just have to re-update with all the stuff you've updated with since... apparently archive.org is good for saving those files? maybe? i haven't had a chance to look into it closely, yet.
