Is it just me, or does anyone else ever do that thing where you're really into a fandom and/or characters so you, um, connect to the muse and inspire yourself by doing a tarot reading for it/them?
...Well, you should try it, because it is rather cool all the times I've done it. Like last night. I'm sure I don't need to tell you what fandom (Supernatural) or characters (Winchesters) I was thinking about. I did a three card draw, past-present-future, pulling the cards at random from the pack after a good deal of thoughtful shuffling.
My cards are absolutely stunning and I love them a whole lot, so I've scanned them to put here as well. The interpretations are from the pack, which I think is the most appropriate way to do it, though each reader will bring their own interpretation as well. I've left it up to you.
Past – The Stars (Hope)
She is the beauty of the horizon and the everlasting. Her existence recalls how many roads must still be traveled.
Present – Knave of Swords (Researcher)
He who confronts and analyzes that which life offers.
Future – Death (The End)
She is nothingness like metamorphosis, passage like interruption. Everything has an end, nothing goes on forever unchanged.
Drawn at random, people. From a 78-card deck. Only 22 of which are major arcana.
