more SPN costuming meta, and demon speculation

Along the lines of these two posts, lookit:

Subtle, no? Also, speaking of them, more thoughts on what I will continue to call the cuckoos (for the sake of convenience).

So, Meg and Telekinesis!Boy (as pictured above). We know there are a bunch of kids, right, magic babies such as Sam, Max and Rosie. Demon killed/tried to kill mommy, has plans for them. My question is: are Meg and T!B, human-them, not possessed-them, part of this magical generation? Or are they just ordinary people who were unfortunate enough to get possessed?

The name alliteration of Max Miller and Meg Masters suggests that human!Meg is part of magic generation.

Is T!B's telekinesis demon power, or T!B power, used by the demon possessing him? Celine Demon possessing John uses magical mind power, but that isn't necessary exemplary; as we know, Celine Demon is on a higher shelf than Meg and T!B.

And speaking of magic powers, baby!Sammy totally moves his baseball mobile with his mind. And Rosie looks at you like she's reading your mind. So, it's reasonable to assume that to a degree these powers are inherent, present pre-demon. What is activating them at the time when Max starts moving things, Sam starts dreaming Jess's death, and John goes missing?

And okay, in looking at the magic generation, it's also necessary to look at heirarchies of demons, yeah? As in, there is Celine DaddyDemon, who is impervious to holy water. Then there are his 'children', Meg and T!B, who are obviously somewhat important to DaddyDemon, but they are susceptible to the effects of the holy water.

The demons occupying Meg and T!B were killed - with the Seal of Solomon and with the Colt, not expelled from a lifeless human body. So, Celine Demon is grumpy. But we see more possessions take place - the guy outside the Sunshine building, who then comes into contact with a fireman, who is also possessed. What's happening here? Is the one demon possessing two bodies simultaneously? or separating, propagating? or is something else going on here?

And these demons don't seem to have wonderful powers that make them pretty damn dangerous, as T!B does. Are they lesser demons, below what Celine Demon calls his 'children'? Or are they all his children?

Are the 'plans' he has for Sam's magic generation possession by his children and then further diabolical plans, and T!B and Meg the first victims of these plans? Or is there something more prophetic in store for them, that Celine Demon is trying to hijack or prevent? (why else would they have special powers? unless that's nothing transcendental, and just a biological anomaly or somesuch.)

Also, a couple of other things that have been floating around in my head: I've seen discussed around the possible reasons for Celine Demon to kill all the mommies of these magic babies, and also asking why Celine Demon didn't shove Mary on the ceiling the first time she saw him, when she mistook him for John.

And I thought, maybe the mommies who interrupt Celine Demon's visits are the ones that get barbequed. Maybe Celine Demon is visiting a whole lot more babies, but the only ones the Winchesters find out about are the ones where mommy walks in to find a strange figure standing over the crib, and thus have to be Dealt With. Are Meg and T!B magic babies that mommy has not interrupted Celine Demon standing over?

But then, there's that old "but what about Jess?" question, of which I have read many theories and am yet to find one I agree with, or make one of my own. Though I suspect it has something to do with the Winchesters messing around where Celine Demon doesn't like them messing around, particularly John.

Because John goes missing because more mommies start burning, right? And John could like, totally eat Chuck Norris for breakfast, he's not about to not pick up on all the symptoms of the demon (cattle deaths, weather patterns), and he tells Sam that these occured in Palo Alto as well. Around a week before Celine Demon strikes, but John never gets there in time until we get to Salvation, right?

So, why did Dean turn up at just that moment (in terms of getting Sam to help him find Dad, not in terms of running into the burning building)? Is it possible that he was following John's orders? I don't think John would think the signs of imminent Celine Demon occuring where Sam lives were unrelated or innocuous. Methinks there's a possibility that Dean was playing Good Little Soldier, there, taking care of Sammy because John knew something was coming (even if he couldn't get there in time to save anyone).

Which, in turn raises interesting thoughts - would Dean know why John told him to get Sam? (John's behaviour in Dead Man's Blood suggests he wouldn't tell, and Dean wouldn't ask.) If Dean knew, and John knew, why didn't they tell Sam? Because they wanted to let him have his normal life, and not have to worry about the Winchester MO any more? Which is what he wanted, right?

Anyhoo.

Celine Demon Hey, that's not right. =(

I think you're on the right track with the Mommy Interruptus there, although the chances that Flamable Mommies only check on the babies on the night they turn six months old is a bit low. Maybe it wasn't the right time, maybe it needed her to voluntarily enter the room, maybe it only checks on them every six months but then John would pick up on that if older baby Momas started bursting into flames, maybe they just needed to raise the level of tension in the scene. Why else would she run into the room?

You know what freaks me out when vidding bits from Jess' death scene? The shower turning on in the background when Sam enters the bedroom.
Papa Demon is in his shower.

Spellcheck wants me to change Celine back to Ceiling.

what's not right about Celine Demon?
It will give me nightmares.

It's weird, it's as if the demon knows exactly what will happen on the nights he does his thing. In all the examples we have, the mother goes in alone, gets set on fire and the baby survives.

The shower only starting up as Sam comes in, is to freak us out if we catch it I think.
Maybe he doesn't want to waste water.

Now I'm unable to excise from my mind the image of John being posessed by Celine Dion.....

It would explain a lot.

I thought that too - about how John makes the point to mention that the strange occurences were happening around Palo Alto right before Jessica's death. Did he mean that he noticed the occurences AFTER Jess was killed and it was a "hindsight is 20/20" thing, or did he notice the occurences and do nothing? It seems odd that if he knew the Demon was coming for Sam again that he'd take off and leave Dean with only a garbled voice message.

And holy cow, am I so excited about your costuming observations! I was always pretty happy with how the clothing on the show seemed to have a lot of continuity (Dean wears the black and purple plaid shirt a lot, Sam and his grey hound t-shirt) which made sense considering they would only have limited space in their duffels for wardrobe changes. But finding the connection between Sam and the other Special Kids via clothing? That's brilliant.

I can't wait to read what else you come up with!

I wish my ADD weren't so on right now because I really want to form coherent thought to this because I can already tell I love your brain.

Why am I commenting? Because I thought you'd like to know that I spent a half of an hour trying to figure out if that picture was from a cut scene from Skin or something from next season (Which made me wonder HTW you got it) because I could not remember any dopplegangers aside from the Shapeshifter.

It iterally took me a thirty minutes to figure out the whos and whats of that picture.

It's things like that that make me think you're right. Because that type of "similarity" in a show so big on details is too much for a coincidence.

Sam and Jared seem to share a pair of jeans (One of what looks like only two pairs that Sam owns, max) but aside from that there seems to be no crossover. Which is incredibly good except for the teasing Dean could do for the paisley shirts and the sights we could get of Dean in painted-on clothing.
