Slashcon was fantastic. Company was great, including special guest of awesome, the manly-and-rugged James Butterworth. Food was delicious, conversation delightful, and weather absolutely gorgeous. I miss my Perth peeps already!

But for now, I am snuggling up in bed with blankies and clean pajamas. Here's hoping I can get my sleeping pattern back on Melbourne track!

Dear Slashcon-ers!

I remember all of you, but did not successfully connect LJ names to real names etc. So, please feel free to friend away and I will friend back, and if you would be so kind to leave a comment reminding me who you are, that would be most excellent :)

Thank you, lovely ones!!

PS. if you can't remember, I was the one at the con with the Die Hard desktop.

I have just set up loud twitter to post to my LJ daily while I'm away (so like, 3 days). Mainly because I have set up TwitPic with my phone, which means I can send through photos, yay! (Otherwise, Twitter doesn't interest me that much.)

Okie doke. Hopefully that works. Heading off soon!

So, today I went to Freemantle with [livejournal.com profile] black_samvara. And there I bought a shawl made of yak wool. Just thought you might want to know.

Also, played with that Wordle thing.

The D Word: in Wordle form )

On the banks of the Tiber: Also in Wordle form )

Aside from names, one of the common prominent words that pops up via Wordle when I run my fics through is "fucking". Possibly I overuse that, yep. (Except for a Jayne/Simon fic I ran through, then it was "ain't").

In other news, tomorrow is Slashcon! [livejournal.com profile] cupidsbow has made a final round-up announcement here. Tonight I need to:

- Organise myself better for my workshop (on podcasting)
- Make sure all my technology is working (for podcasting!)
- Figure out what I want to read at the reading circles. I think I would like to read my own stories, being the goh and all (zomg). But I do not know which! possibly something silly. I am thinking (etc) married or were-yak or some of the d word or tiber or some of stroke of luck. I am open to requests (if you're attending) or suggestions (even if you're not). Halp?
- Figure out better what to talk about in my GoH talk. Again, suggestions welcome! I have general ideas and need to cement them a bit better, but will happily take guidance. I am having difficulty with perspective - I am just another fangirl lol!
