I'm going to write an Ash fic, I've decided. However, I need some cultural guidance. Whereabouts in the States is Ash originally from, d'you reckon? Judging by his accent, etc. Is he a stereotype of a particular place, or just the general US trash aesthetic?

If it helps, Ash is very much like all the boys in my high school's computer club. Where we'd meet up, talk about code, and then they'd go out to the hall to see if they could dent lockers with their heads.
