I too made it here by way of plutogirl10. One of the great pleasures of LofM is the music and combining it with all that brotherly love just gives me goosebumps. I haven't seen Boondock Saints but, holy moley, that was hot.

Because I have obssessivly watched BDS, and now obsessivly watch SPN, I have long been aware of the many parallels. Seeing them in a vid [excellent musical choice!] kind of broke me. Okay, not kinda. Bringing in THE DADS was so ... the six gun vest and Truckzilla ...

I'm sure Kripke watched BDS many times; how else can you explain the Murphy/Sam downward floppy hair contrasted with the Connor/Dean upright bristle?

You missed one parallel shot I was hoping for: Sam sneaking a huge knife into his bag during the pilot, just like Murphy in the "Is that right, Rambo?" scene.

In my bromance-riddled brain, Smecker is working behind the scenes to derail Henricksen's investigation. YOU KNOW IT IS TRUE.

I began a BDS/SPN crossover, nothing elaborate, but put it aside. I HAVE TO finish that thing.

Saving people. Hunting things. So that which is good may flourish.

I'm here at the flailing and pointing and general gibbering of monster_of_hope. While I have to point out I'm not a fan of SPN, I do think hot brothers have a place in everyone's heart, if not their panties.

On the other hand, BDS is my obsession. And the parallels you have shown are... well, uncanny? *cough*ripoff*cough* Cuz, dude, Sam and Dean wish they were Connor and Murphy. If not in their panties.

Having said this, your video is awesome. The soundtrack is perfect. And I acknowledge the massive work and creativity you put into this. Huzzah!
