I'm starting to see Mary and John as an older remixed version of Sam and Dean. That John is coping as well in the situation as Sam or Dean would (sans babies of course)(or with, depends on the fic) without each other.
The potential dynamic between John and Mary fascinate me justabout as much as the John&Dean dynamic does. Well, yaknow. The John&Anyone dynamic fascinates me :D
