Oh, god. That was shattering in the best possible way. Dean staggering down the road after the car, oh fuck. This is brilliantly, brilliantly written. If you don't mind indulging my curiosity, how many drafts/rewrites do you do to get to this point, cos Jesus, it's pretty damn nearly perfect...

I experimentally hacked it out in a zombified state between 11pm-12.30am last night, did a quick re-read to clear out the typos and vagueness, and posted.
