I toyed with making it darker - spinning out more the Stockholm Syndrome side of it - but ended up deciding not to because a) the recipient requested humour! and b) I don't know if I'd have the heart to... Even knowing what Jack's capable of, I'd prefer to leave them at being a mindless pleasure machine than all just fucktoys for Jack's issues.
I think i's perfect ending where it does; the reader's imagination can go to the OMG!impending horror place or the "well, that was weird. Glad it was fixed eventually. Bloody Torchwood!" place.
