Okay, so
groaty got me thinking: Supernatural fic, aloud.
This is not a new thought for me (as those who've been around for a few years will know), nor for fandom in general. There are a bunch of fandoms that have people who record audio tracks of stories, be it their own or someone else's.
So. What would you say to a Supernatural fanfic podcast? You could record yourself reading your story, or someone else's story, aloud, and I could work my editing mojo and put them together in one big 'cast (well, about half-an-hour 'cast). Or bundle them as individual stories. Or something. There could be a slash edition and a gen edition. Maybe once a week or fortnight.
Whaddaya think?

I am currently looking for submissions for the pilot edition of the Supernatural Fic Podcast - that is, audio recordings of people reading Supernatural fanfiction stories aloud.
The community for the podcast is at
spnfic_podcast. I've linked to the key posts (FAQ, how to submit, etc) in the userinfo.
The latest post is a more detailed call for submissions, with information on how to go about getting involved in the project, and where I see it going at this stage.
Suggestions and questions (and offers of help) are always welcome.
This project really relies on input from fandom, so if you're even the teensiest bit enthused at the prospect of listening to a SPN fic podcast, consider reading a story for it! The podcast will not be able to exist without submissions.
This entry has been cross-posted a bit. Please feel free to pimp out the community/project wherever you think appropriate.

Sam/Dean, PG-13, crackity crack crack.
Read the story.
See the links at the top for... well, an explanation of sorts.
