Fanlore and how exciting it is and how hard we've worked on it, but I got as far as the subject line before I got swept up in chat transcripts, discussion pages, recent changes and emails, and the to-do list is never ending.
So this isn't the big public post about Fanlore. One day that will happen, maybe, eventually.
In the meantime, any wiki editors or readers or lurkers are welcome to come chat or loiter in the Fanlore Chat room, which is now open as I tootle about.

bookmarks before, I think, but as it's now complete it totally deserves a rec post of its own:
A Matter of Time by
demotu (Torchwood, Jack/Ianto, NC-17)
Basically, there's an accident with Jack's vortex manipulator and Ianto is zapped to 5054, into the arms of a mortal Jack in his 20s. Sex, romance and sociological & philosophical discussions on the meaning of sex and romance ensue. As does science fiction. And alien dance clubs. And laser blasters. And rogue space ships crewed by smugglers and mercenaries. And more time travel, mystery, tragedy, sneaky plans, plottiness and hot hot porn. It's over 100,000 words and utterly delicious.
