Very quick & easy list of the Chinese used in the episodes, their translations, quote where they’re used, suggested spellings & pronounciations. Listed in alphabetical order.

Firefly Chinese Pinyinary
If you want to go into more depth with the Chinese, use more unique phrases, look up translations that occur outside the show.

A dictionary of both slang and technical terms used in the Firefly ‘verse.

I was just over at FireflyWiki.org and realized that there is possibly a HUGE discrepancy in the time line of things. Mal is calculated at 49 years old when they pick up Simon, River and the Shepherd.

I don't know about you all but I do believe that the actor is not that old. I believe that Jayne is actually order than Mal.

Just an FYI for everyone out there!
