cool! imdb now have a function that lets you make your saved list of movies public. eta: it appears that it's 'public' to all 'registered users' - you might as well just go ahead and register, only good will come of it ;D
or, maybe i should start from the start: imdb allows you to create an account with them and bookmark any entry (for a movie/show, not a person) you like, automatically creating a linked list of them for you. you can categorise the movies too. they call the feature 'my movies'.
anyway, as i'm obsessed with recording/organising things, i use this service to record all the movies i watch. i also use it to keep track of how many movies i'm seeing. in 2004 i saw over 90; i resolved to see at least 100 in 2005. well, now that you can make your categories public, here's the list of all the movies and complete tv series seasons i saw in 2005. 128 of them. i should note - these aren't new movies, these are just movies i'd never seen before 2005.
my progress boomed along in the first half of the year, then i fell in love with tv-on-dvd and spent many, many hours watching television when i could have been watching films :D
anyway, it's a really cool function, i like it lots.
now to have a poke at this del.icio.us that everyone's talking about.
