hope: Art of a woman writing from tour poster (don't you know i'm loco?)

Kraaaak! Kraaaaak! There's my crack call! Now where's my crack?

So, crack! I've always been a bit of a crackish author with AUs and whatnot, but with Supernatural I'm like the covergirl for the DVD of "fanfiction authors gone WILD!" (there's a wet keyboard competition in scene 5). SPN crack scenarios I have written:

- Amnesia
- Genderswap
- [Curse]-made-us-do-it
- Werewolves (a few times)
- Bodyswap (in-progress)
- Cross-dressing
- *cough* Yak-Fucking

I think I really like doing that "3 ways the Winchesters..." format. It's fun. I love adopting a crack scenario in its raw premise form and seeing how it fits with the characters. And it's a great writing exercise, not too pressuring, as it's really just a short idea exploration rather than something epic, with like, a plot and stuff. Also, readers seem to like it *g*.

So, a poll:

[Poll #854356]

That isn't to say that I'm abandoning all other projects in order to write more crack. (Er, though a lot of my other projects are also crack.) Nope, as soon as I'm able, it's guns a-blazing on the bodyswap, college years, necrophilia, CPS, and slut!Sam!

Know where I could get a good Mary-lived-instead/too fic?

That list sounds like a Farscape episode list. I think they might have done all but the wing business.

[identity profile] naewinter.livejournal.com 2006-10-28 11:36 am (UTC)(link)
I may have to go spelunking in the news letter.

Nothing has ever been as crack addled as the fourth season or movie of Farscape. Nothing. =D

time travel! think of the fun places you could send them... or is it purely time travel - not location travel (so,no ancient rome, or whatever)?

I LOVE CRACK!

[identity profile] nixwilliams.livejournal.com 2006-10-27 06:47 pm (UTC)(link)
heh. i can't believe i just wrote that and posted it without realising what i'd written. i blame the slide at the tate.

I LOVE YOUR CRACK! (sorry, couldn't help it)

[identity profile] nixwilliams.livejournal.com 2006-10-28 10:02 am (UTC)(link)

[identity profile] madeitsimple.livejournal.com 2006-10-27 07:34 pm (UTC)(link)
i picked the time travel one, but i WANT them to time travel. to the fifties. and they can wear suits and fedoras and be adorable.

[identity profile] gillianinoz.livejournal.com 2006-10-27 08:12 pm (UTC)(link)
Hehe, I've written:

-Amnesia
-Werewolves (who can resist??)
-Baby story
-WeeWincest (which I still can't believe)
-Alternate Universe where they don't know they're brothers
and, in progress: a 'Sam swaps lives with Normal!Sam' story.

What I haven't done in this fandom (yet) but I have in others:

-Genderswap
-Mpreg (the ultimate crack)
-Rape story :(

I am so a crackish author as well. :-)

[identity profile] gillianinoz.livejournal.com 2006-10-28 08:34 pm (UTC)(link)
Hmm, I guess it is - it's certainly fun to milk all those emotions out of them - which is the best part of crack. :-)

TIME TRAVEL! Involving a seedy 1940s lesbian bar.

[identity profile] sajee.livejournal.com 2006-10-27 11:43 pm (UTC)(link)
Also, I think you should write high-school crack. Because that stuff is super-tasty.

[identity profile] sajee.livejournal.com 2006-10-28 09:54 am (UTC)(link)
As I pressed "post" or "submit" or whatever the fuck it is on that comment, I was like "No, S-J. That is for the RPS, not the show world." So I completely get where you are coming from. Thus, I now put in two votes for lesbian bar. The kind found in proper lesbian pulp fiction.

[identity profile] sajee.livejournal.com 2006-10-28 09:58 am (UTC)(link)
NO! No, I didn't.

*runs off to read*

[identity profile] nixwilliams.livejournal.com 2006-10-28 09:10 am (UTC)(link)

[identity profile] sajee.livejournal.com 2006-10-28 09:14 am (UTC)(link)
