I just bought a bunch of stuff at Riverkids; yay for for cheap, handmade stuff that does good!

Also, jumping on the bandwagon:

If you have the urge to send me a christmas card, leave me a greeting here instead *beams* It saves paper and makes me feel less guilty about not sending out my own! Also, if you leave a message, I don't actually get it until Christmas. HOW COOL IS THAT?

Using this icon because it's the closest to "christmassy" that I've got, and also [livejournal.com profile] encycl_of_weird is very awesome.

In other news, I decided to try and properly organise my music for my iPod, so I installed iTunes on my desktop. This involved fighting with an older version of Quicktime that didn't want to uninstall, then going into regedit and deleting quicktime files, then discovering that I've deleted the driver for my soundcard and while the computer still knows it's THERE, it can't actually use it. WOE!

Well, I certainly didn't end up writing 150 per day, though I did hit my month's-worth word count - I wrote 7070 in total. ETA: and duh, thank you so much to the folks who signed up to the filter and cheered me on for at least the first half of the month *G* If there's another piece in particular you think I should make public, yell out & I'll consider it :D

I'll repost my favourite piece here, which happens to be the last one I wrote.

Tomorrow Never Knows
- pre series gen, ~500 words.
